Roy, some rotten egg tried to take seven hundred pounds from our bank account last Thursday, luckily, a kind soul realised we did not purchase what ever it was and contacted us.
It was all stopped before it had even begun. Some poor folks are not so lucky.
There are daily reports that ‘local’ people are not only being targeted but some still unfortunately fall for it.
Another resident contacted me over the weekend stating that a parcel was being delivered by FedEx™ – even though they were expecting a parcel via Amazon™ – nearly accidentally clicked on the FedEx link…..
