The following announcement has been made by the Bishop.
The Appointment of the Revd Nigel Andrew Whitehouse
The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Nigel Andrew Whitehouse, currently Team Rector of Whittlesey, Pondersbridge and Coates, as Priest-in-Charge of Upwell, St Peter and Outwell, St Clement. Nigel’s last Sunday in the current Benefice will be 26 April.
He will be licensed on 5 May 2020 by Bishop Dagmar.
I have been Team Rector for 17 years and Jo and I have enjoyed living here. I have always felt it a privilege to serve the whole Benefice, its four churches, congregations and the whole population. I have appreciated all the contacts established over the years with other churches, our schools, the Council and others.
We will be sad to leave but also look forward to a new challenge.
