Having spent 28 years in the Merchant Navy – I and many of my ship mates were involved in supporting our military and country.
Today those are remembered and I am very grateful to Whittlesey Branch of The Royal British Legion, for flying my authentic/used ‘Red Duster’ today at our War Memorial.

I was part of a company that won in its day The Queens Award to Industry.
I am proud to be in pocession of 3 of these ‘marble awards’
More men were lost at sea than in any of the other ‘armed forces’
