E-scooter Seized During School Patrols

👮What did we do? Issued tickets to those parked in an obstructive manner.

All 4 Market Towns are covered by just a few PCSO’s who normally carry out parking enforcement…we have our share.
Below is the latest from March.

During this morning’s patrols, you may have seen us at:

  • Westwood Primary School, where four tickets were issued and an e-scooter ended up being seized
  • Cavalry Primary School, where five tickets were issued
  • Burrowmoor School, where two tickets were issued

These patrols will continue when we are able. We can’t be everywhere, but we could be anywhere.

Have a concern you would like to pass on to your neighbourhood officers? Here are the upcoming meetings this month for our March team:

➡️Chatteris Library, from 10am until 11am, on Saturday (13 December)

➡️March Library, from 12pm until 1pm, on Saturday (13 December)

➡️Whittlesey Library, from 9am until 10am, on Monday (15 December)

➡️Wimblington Parish Hall, from 6pm until 7pm on Friday, 19 December

➡️Online meeting via Microsoft Teams, from 7pm until 8.30pm, on Tuesday, 23 December. To receive your invite, email communitymeeting@Cambs.police.uk with the subject ‘MARCH’.

Taking Half A Day Off !!!!!

It’s our wedding anniversary today – 49 years – where have the years gone.
A very ‘challenging’ year especially for Connie looking after me.

Film Night

Doors open 18.30 for 19.00 start.

U.S. President Will Derringer and British Prime Minister Sam Clarke have a not-so-friendly and very public rivalry. However, when Air Force One gets shot down over enemy territory, they find themselves on the run and working together to thwart a global conspiracy that threatens the entire free world.

No admission charges are made for these regular winter events with refreshments served during an interval.

Donations are much appreciated to offset operating expenses.
Card transactions now available if preferred.

If you value “cinema” events in your Town and would like them to continue, please try to come along.

Your smiling faces when attending encourage us to continue!
We really value your support!
