Report – Report – Report – If You See or Hear Anything Suspicious

Yesterday I attended an online update from Police UK/NHW in respect of Counter Terrorism.
You may ‘think’ living in a ‘dozy Fenland Town’ this type of crime would not apply to us….
Well I can tell you – you’re wrong, extremism in some form exists everywhere.

I have omitted certain slides for security reasons.

The ‘Key’ as with all crime/potential crime is to report, report, report it…it may well be insignificant to you, but to the authorities may help put the jig-saw together.

How secure is your contactless bank card?

How secure is your contactless bank card?
Have you ever wondered that if someone could get close enough to you and your contactless bank cards, they could somehow capture the data and use it in fraud?

Well, the simple answer is they can’t. (According to global business Thales Group)

The link below, details some myths and facts that will explain why your contactless card/s are safe from being skimmed, whether they are in some form of protective wallet

Whittlesey Emergency Food Aid

A lot of speculation over the past two weeks, hot news on social media, however not all is as reported on SM. At last nights Focus Group meeting we were given the latest ‘true’ update. The Whittlesey Food Bank will continue to run from The Christian Church on Broad Street for the next few weeks/months until alternative arrangements can be found.

The Charity is well funded and run and will hopefully continue so.
Whittlesey Town Councillors are involved and am sure will help in every way possible.
Below the publicity article after the formation of the group.

The new number to call if help is needed is 07594 294971
