Last year – the state/grass cutting of the Manor Field came in for a great deal of criticism, from members of the public and a number of local Councillors.
This year the quality of work appears to be much better and can only be put down to people empowerment…..no good complaining on Social Media – do it direct and in many cases changes can happen.
Today @ St Mary Church – Local produce, Jams, Cakes, Honey, Fruit Stall, Flowers, Cheeses.
2 members of the public came to the surgery, one on planning advice and the other
on an anti-social business not being very neighbourly.

Land NE of Hemmerley Drive, Change of use to a Dog Training Paddock and a new business operating from the Saxon Works.
F/YR22/0382 Changed of Use of former Brickworks to Industrial – was deferred until the next meeting when the applicant(s) will bring a presentation to the WTC Planning Committee.
No members of the public attended.
The agenda for this meeting was published yesterday.
The current waiting list for an allotment is 28, allotments recently allocated 3.
There was to be an allotment inspection today.
Water has been turned on.
The Flagpole and flags have been ordered and delivery expected shortly.
The Towns Hanging Baskets were discussed .
