Fenland Council has admitted the £18.7 million price tag for the long promised redevelopment of Whittlesey’s Manor Leisure Centre is now out of date, with the final cost set to rise and no new figure yet being put before councillors.
The admission came at today’s (Monday) full council meeting, where independent Whittlesey councillor Roy Gerstner challenged council leader Cllr Chris Boden over yet another delay to the scheme.
