You might be ready for your jollies but is your property?
Criminals will look to target your home if they know you’re away so think WIDEN:
W – Windows locked
I – Interior lights on a timer
D – Doors double or deadlocked
E – Exterior lights on a sensor
N – Neighbours keep an eye out
Try and maintain a normal routine while you are away. Ask a family member friend or neighbour if they can:
Put the bins out
Open and close blinds/curtains as you would normally
Keep an eye on the house
If neighbours have more than one vehicle, would they consider parking on your drive while you are away
Remove post and parcels that are delivered
