With the demise of the previous attempt to take over the ‘Three Horseshoes Pubic House’
Having obtained it classified as a ‘Community Asset’ for 6 months, and having some funding promised from the CPCA (Cambridge & Peterborough Combined Authority), with strict conditions…..All sadly came to an abrupt ending with the departure of Stephen Goldspink the original driver of the project…..
Resurrection II with the concept of an ‘Open Space Area’ (of course the usual Community Cafe a prerequisite) – I wish them well, Turves/Three Horseshoes like many small villages appear to be at the bottom of the pile when it comes to funding……However there are several Fenland Villages which have benefitted from funding and projects…..Gorefield for example.
