At Last Nights WTC Meeting(s)

I attended the Projects meeting, and on the agenda item ‘Platinum Wood’ gave the committee and the members of the public present an update on the project.
The planned Platinum Wood “Open Day – 18th July”
1/ To promote the fantastic volunteering efforts especially Cllr Eamonn Dorling in
    maintaining this WTC project for ALL to enjoy.
2/ To raise awareness of the ongoing project.
3/ To update the 100+ sponsors, volunteers, community groups of how the project is
    developing.
4/ To invite ALL our councillors to this event in order that they can see for themselves the
     legacy that WTC is leaving our community.
5/ 135+ Trees have been planted.
     Community Orchard.
     Help yourself Herb Garden.
     Bee Hive(s) & Bird Boxes.
     Wild Flower Meadow.
     4 Donated wooden seating benches, Cycle Rack, Dog Bin.
     Biodiversity enhancements.
     50+ different wildflowers and plants identified.

The 4 Acre field owned by FDC and managed by ‘Friends of Platinum Wood’ under the 
custodianship of Whittlesey Town Council.

No Chemicals used.
No Weedkillers used.
No Insecticides used.
