So, what I am told is a record – 3 weeks to get the ‘illegal/nonĀ compliant/nil permit/unsafe scaffolding taken down by the ‘iffy’ builders, is almost a record – all ended with good communications from the enforcement officer @ Cambs CC.
Next issue – was the very elderly gentleman and his disabled daughter a victim of rogue trading, after some more long winded investigations this appears not so.
Now there is a new roofing company (I have their details – as I happened to meet them) who are applying for the correct permits and will replace the slate tiles on the front of the building.
Within the conservation area – picture taken Friday 29th May.
I hope that this brings a good resolution to all concerned.
