Water companies have been dumping toxic sewage sludge on UK farmland — and they haven’t been straight with farmers about what’s in it.
Turns out, the sludge can be packed with microplastics and chemicals, which contaminates the soil that grows our food and pollutes our rivers.
We need the government to clamp down on this immediately. AND we need a guarantee that water companies won’t pass the cost of cleaning up their mess onto bill-payers!
