Update On Yesterdays Manor Leisure Centre Consultation.

I have had 90% of contacts comment about the Gender -Neutral Changing Area for the proposed Manor Leisure Centre.

Gender-neutral, changing rooms are facilities that are not separated by sex or gender. They can be individual, fully enclosed stalls with a lockable door, or they can be larger, communal areas where people can shower and change alongside others of any gender. The implementation of unisex changing rooms can provide benefits like increased inclusivity and flexibility, but can also raise concerns about privacy and safety, and legal frameworks can differ depending on location and facility type.

I need to know more information, Phil Hughes (Director @ FDC) did go someway into explaining that nearly all new facilities throughout the country have this type of changing area.

A local council has ignored advice from its crime prevention officer that proposed mixed-sex changing facilities in its new swimming pool would be a magnet for voyeurs and approved the plans for the new facility in Stevenage. .
