I went along to the morning session and met up with Phil Hughes, (Director of Leisure) @ FDC and he brought me up to date with the latest developments, including the increased size (footprint) of the bulding.
I raised the ‘hot’ topic of gender neutral changing area’s which seems very unpopular.
He explained the reasoning, which is quite lengthy and I’ll not bore anyone with it, but ALL new sporting/swimming pools now build to this criteria.
They were quite busy most of the morning. (The weather helped).
