R15+ years I’ve been an active member of Whittlesey Street Pride, another great group of Volunteers supported by Fenland District Council, and I was Chairman for 6 years, overseeing most of the gateway projects which still exsist and are still sponsored by local businesses.
A really good attendance by 20 members who collected in total 37 bags of litter plus a bag of cans for Eamonn.
The largest item being a lorry tyre from the Bower, thanks to Daniel and Alan it was retrieved and brought back .
The next litter pick will be on Saturday 4th October – 10am – The Kings Delph Truck Stop – meet in this layby.
