Further posts coming….In essence, nothing more can be done at Whittlesey in the short/medium term until the Ely North Junction is sorted/upgraded.
There were only 8 members of the public present (a daytime meeting) and 8 Whittlesey Councillors including myself. The Portfolio Holder @ FDC Cllr Chris Seaton was also present.
Q/ What has the £9.5 Million allocated from the Combine Authority been spent on.
Some enhancements at Whittlesey, March and Manea, the remaining £6 million which was allocated towards Whittlesey (Platform Lengthening and a Footbridge) is still with the CPCA and doubt given the timescale with the Ely Junction happening, the money will probably need to be re-applied for……
