A decision by the Cambridge and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) to allocate the remaining funds from the original £1M to the projects put forward last month.
You may recall there was two camps after what was left over from the much delayed Heritage Centre. Some money towards Town projects but the bulk going on’ Consultants’ to produce a report on the viability of a Relief Road.
‘If’ my earlier poll this week has any bearing (I doubt very much that Councillors would have taken much notice) there was almost a 50/50 split on whether a Relief Road was either wanted or needed.
The Civil Enforcement on parking is another big issue which has been delayed.
I’ll post what Littleport have done with their £1M in the next post.
