Notification Cancellation of 2020 April -June Micro Asphalt Program
I am emailing you to update you in relation to the 2020 April to June Micro Asphalt program which was suspended due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.
The supply chain partner Eurovia, have indicated to our main contractor Skanska, that they would be looking to commence works in late June, but only in Rural locations initially. As you are probably aware, most of our Micro Asphalt works are in urban housing estates, with the more rural sites given over to a Gripfibre Micro Asphalt process which is more durable.
We also have two further Micro Asphalt programs, in September 2020 and March 2021. Eurovia are hoping that processes and situations will enable them to carry out these two programs as currently planned.
We have therefore made the decision to cancel the 2020 April-June program, and move it forward to the next financial year in 2021. I am sorry that we have had to do this, but as I’m sure that you appreciate, the situation has been totally out of all our hands. We have replaced this with a small rural Gripfibre program.
