I suppose that social media is rife with ‘information/news’ on our local concerns/issues.
As long as what is being posted in ‘REAL’ and not hearsay….

Next we have the ‘panic buying’ of virtually everything over £1 billion of extra sales – the only share that went up last week was the Supermarkets?
Yesterday at Tesco™ Ramsey almost all products were available in the early afternoon.

Already ‘we’ in Whittlesey have had ‘bogus’ individuals knocking on doors – porporting to be ‘official’ and offering all sorts of ‘service’ including testing for corvid-19
especially to the elderly group, can I please ask that you inform your neighbours/relations and friends – NO one is is authorised to carry out testing at your home at present.

Man in court over fake Covid-19 treatment kits
A man has appeared in court charged with making fake kits which claimed to treat Covid-19.

Frank Ludlow, 59, was arrested in a post office near his home in West Sussex on Friday, the City of London Police said.
He was arrested by the force’s Intellectual Property Crime Unit after it was contacted by US counterparts.

The kits allegedly contained harmful chemicals which people were being told to use to rinse their mouths with.
Mr Ludlow has been charged with one count of fraud by false representation, one count of possession of articles for use in fraud and one count of unlawfully manufacturing a medicinal product.
