Apparently ‘A Pothole’ in Fenland peat costs around 4X the normal Polhole….thats if it is done properly!
During Monday evening’s Wisbech Town Council meeting, Cllr Steve Tierney called for pressure to be put on Cambridgeshire County Council’s highway department over the poor conditions of our roads.
Councillors believe local highways are in a worse state than any of them can remember.
Cllr Tierney said: “The potholes are everywhere; the roads are in ruinous conditions, and safety has become a key issue because of this. Residents’ vehicles are being damaged, and individuals are being put at risk.”
