Two drivers could receive punishment after being caught illegally behind the wheel in Whittlesey

Two drivers could be facing a £300 fine, six points on their licence, or an unlimited fine and driving ban.
The drivers who were stopped in Whittlesey could receive any of the above if their case goes to court, after they were caught driving without insurance by Fenland’s rural officers.
One van was stopped along the A605 after it was caught by an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) marker.
A car was seized for having no insurance, no tax and no mot.
