News From Radio Fenland – Extravaganza 2025



A fantastic day as fair rides , stalls and entertainment adorned the central streets of Whittlesey. Possibly the most successful Extravaganza ever, thanks to financial donations from Whittlesey Town Council, Whittlesey Charity, Cllr Roy Gerstner, Robert Boddington, and Making Waves .

Thanks to the ride providers, St John Ambulance, Helping Whittlesey Community Pantry, Muffin Oven, Streetpride, Vault Academy, Ciara Duffy, Mark Owen, Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue. Pig Dyke Molly, Andrew Waling, Whittlesey Roundtable/Tangent, Whittlesey Lions, the 30 volunteers, raffle draw sponsors James Dighton Pest Control, P& L Motors, Phil Brannigan Ltd and the many donations of prizes, Matt Waller, Peterborough Society of Magicians, Quinns and Black Bull for the extra car parking slots.

The Extravaganza also the appreciates the support of the Primary school’s, the Library, Gifts Galore, Parker’s Newsagents, Sophy Beth’s Hair and Beauty and the Market Emporium for allowing the Extravaganza sell advance tokens .

Radio Fenland was delighted to be the official media outlet , finally a big thanks to the community of Whittlesey for attending and supporting en mass and the overwelming kind comments that have been made .
