I understand that Cllr Nawaz is fuelling popularist debate about ‘Flying Flags’ on social media. Remember however it was this same Councillor – who wanted to install 2 very large flagpoles (£4,000+) outside Whittlesey Town Council Offices, the same Councillor returned with a second quotation of (£2,200).
I was tasked with the project and as I have published before had the present (and in keeping with the area and not distracting from the war memorial) for a total of £250 for the ‘Pole/Flag/Installation.
Cllr Nawaz has a habit of whipping up popularist debate in his policical ambitions/aspirations.
