At this weeks Cambs CC Planning Committee – The latest application for the stabilisation of the Southern Butress @ Saxon Pit was considered and after a short debate – was passed
unanimously.
A presentation by Mr Stephen Rice, for the applicant gave an overview and addressed several concerns.
Written representation by The Saxongate Residents Group and Whittlesey Town Council were distributed to committee members before the meeting for consideration.
(The sides below may not be a full representaion of the presentation – watch the event on CCC’s livestream link above)
Now a question – not only with the County Council elections due in May, but the previous Town and District elections – How many promises were made by those seeking election to help and support the Saxon and surrounding residents – where are they? – what have they done?, what are they going to do?….
I have been actively involved with residents, Saxongate, Fenland District and Cambs County Council since the first reported incidents in late 2017/early 2018.
Someone will be knocking on your door electioneering… (and it won’t be me!)
