The start of a new month and we’ve already made eight arrests for drink-drive related offences across the county.
Two were here in Fenland:
A 55-year-old man was reported for erratic driving heading towards March town centre on Friday night. He was pulled over in the High Street and arrested after blowing 81 at the roadside – the legal limit is 35! He’s since been charged with drink driving and is due to appear in court next week. A 30-year-old woman was involved in a collision with the central reservation in Churchill Road, Wisbech, in the early hours of yesterday morning. She was arrested after blowing 104 at the roadside – three times the limit!
