Our Rural Crime Action Team (RCAT) will be holding a meet and greet event later this month to highlight how you can help us towards a safer Cambridgeshire.
The event will be held on Friday 22 September from 10am to 2pm, at Harvest Barn Farm shop in Farcet (PE7 3DR) alongside Darryl Preston, Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire.
It is being held during National Rural Crime Week (18th to 24th September) – a week to help highlight rural crime in communities, how they can be affected and how people can help.
Sergeant Tom Nuttall from RCAT said: “This event provides a great opportunity for people to engage with us, find out more about the work the police do and our team do more specifically.
“There will also be information and advice to those who live in farming, agricultural or rural communities about how they can keep safe and report any suspicious activity.”
Anyone interested does not need a ticket to attend and can just visit on the day.
