As a boy I was brought up and schooled in Coates, I still love the village and its community. Development over the years have changed somethings.
I am not sure ‘if’ the local residents are very supportive of The Coates Village Store, which has been there all my life and I collected my daily papers to be delivered in Eastrea during the 1960’s.
The proposed (Ankers) site has been in a derelict condition for many years.
