Sometime last month I reported that a certain Councillor wanted to have 2 vertical Flagpoles installed at the Town Council Office (frontage)…. His costings were in excess of £2,000 with little or no thought to whether there were any services where he planned to have them installed.
Fast forward….No way would I or many other Councillors spend £2K+ on this project.
I took ownership of the project and this week a more modest Flagpole has been installed.
Cost of the whole project – £250 – Need I say more.
