Easter Holiday Activity Fund Programme and I would welcome your help in promoting the HAF programme in the Fenland area. A bookings survey, completed with our holiday scheme providers showed that interest in the Easter programme could be boosted, with approx. 55% of places booked county wide. Within Fenland, we have 45% of places booked. We are continually trying to improve this data and have reissued evouchers to parents, promoted via social media, communicated with all schools and asked our providers to link with schools and other groups to promote their schemes.
We are really pleased to have funding again this year from the Department for Education to enable children, in receipt of income-related free school meals, to attend a holiday scheme for free during the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays. This Easter, eligible children can attend for up to 16 hours for no charge.
