The number of Covid-19 cases in Fenland for the week to October 17 was 599 – down just one (0.2 per cent) on the previous week.
The infection rate of 586.8 cases per 100,000 people was the highest of any district in Cambridgeshire, with Wisbech South and Peckover worst hit, with 93 cases, up from 52.
March East, with 28, had the fewest.
Fenland has recorded:
- 11,532 confirmed cases since the pandemic began, as of October 22, 2021
- 413 cases in the five days from October 18-22, according to daily case data, which is subject to change
- 225 deaths by October 22 within 28 days of a positive test, the last of which were on October 19 and 18
- 250 deaths, as of October 8, in which Covid-19 is mentioned on the death certificate
