I am on the case -?
I have asked and reported the overgrown hedging /access onto the Manor Field from the side gate – Aliwal Road.
It will hopefully be addressed next time the contractors are back in Whittlesey.
The Large Pot Hole entering the Manor Field, belongs to Freedom Leisure and they are aware of the issue.

Another BIG Success – BIG BASH IV Yesterday
Robert Windle the organiser of The Whittlesey Big Bash – deserves a BIG Thank You….
By himself organises 85% of the event and alongside Andy Stimpson who is in charge of the Classic Vehicles there is very little ‘we’ his helpers on the day have to do.
It was warming up at 7am when I arrived and just got hotter as the day progressed.
We estimate around 3,000 visitors to the Family day out, most of which is absolutely FREE. Some 300 vehicles on display.
The High Sheriffs Awards to many deserving local people for their contributions to our area.
Music all day, Fishing, Boxing and Rifle Shotting to name a few of the events.
Here is a selection of photo’s – click on pictures to enlarge.

Police In Whittlesey Last Night….Cannabis seized during evening ASB patrols
We are aware of reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the Manor Field and Park, Whittlesey, so have spent some time there in the evening.
While we were there last night, two people didn’t feel like hanging around to say hi and ran away, but they left something behind… a pot containing cannabis! The pot has since been seized by us.
We will continue our patrols there when we can, if you ever see us out and about, please come and speak to us, it is a great way to highlight your concerns to us.
Alternatively, you can report your concerns to us via our
community survey.
