Sorry I didn’t get to go today, due to other appointments and committments, however another good day I am informed.

Coates Primary School Christmas Fair is on Friday 28th November 
And the volunteers are working really hard washing teddies, wrapping Santa presents, making games, folding raffle tickets the list goes on…
We can’t do any of this without the support of local businesses and I appeal to your kind hearts 
to ask if you know of anyone who would donate a raffle prize this year? Fun For Funds Group – Coates Primary are so grateful for the wonderful prizes we have received so far.
The committee of The Three Horseshoes Turves Community Hub Ltd has committed to the production of a quarterly newsletter to the village, & the immediate surrounding roads.
It is our intention to use the newsletter to keep the residents updated on all progress made in grant applications, proposed village fund raising events & activities, and any & all other matters relating too / impacting the residents.
Please find attached the November 2025 newsletter & survey that has been prepared & distributed to 250 households in, & around, the village.

Whittlesey Community Cafe (supported by Cambridgeshire Acre) kicked off with their first meeting today. A resounding success!
The Chamber was packed with(we may need to look at buying more chairs!).
Amid some familiar faces were some of the very people this venture is intended to target – the isolated, lonely and disenfranchised.
This is just the sort of thing that is good for the community, and it deserves our wholehearted support.
Congratulations to Lucile, Dee and all who’ve worked to get this off the ground.
