The accumulation of a very dedicated group of volunteers
(I am proud to be part of them, but less active this year due to my health issues) –
very well supported by Whittlesey Town and Fenland District Councils, several thousand attended this years event with over 100 stalls, rides, entertainment and much music.
Classic Cars & Bikes – fully booked.
The rain held off until 2pm….
Next month the planning starts for the 2026 event.

Our (2) Rescued Tortoises which we have had for nearly 50 years, amaze at being simple but cute….little or no affection, except when being ‘hand-fed’
‘Timmy’ the male, always has urges first thing springtime and autumn before hibernating in a couple of weeks…

The above location is closed following a Road Traffic Collision where an electric vehicle has left the road and crashed into an electricity pole which has caused a fire at the location.
Get there early to miss the rain forecast later in the afternoon.
St Marys Church will have refreshments, including tea, coffee and cakes, along with some music events.
A fantastic group of ‘Voluteers (again) – putting on a mainly ‘free’ event over many venues throught the town, with lots of activities, music and classic cars to name a few.

Can you help with our witness appeal?
An 80-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision between two cars in Coates, near Whittlesey.
The collision, involving a white Vauxhall Mokka and a black MG3, took place just before noon today (12 September) in Wisbech Road, at the junction with Kingsland.
Both drivers were not seriously injured but the passenger in the Vauxhall, an 80-year-old man from Peterborough, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, with serious injuries where he remains.
Anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage of the collision, or the moments leading up to it, can report it through the force website or by calling 101, quoting incident 193 of 12 September.
