At this coming meeting, representatives from Lakeside and New Queen Street Surgery will be giving a presentation to the Council. Members of the Public are allow to attend Council meetings, however unless the Chairman allows – Public would not normally be given the chance to ask questions. You can do this by contacting your own Councillor to do so for you.

As I am a founder memeber of the NQS Patients Participation Group, I attend their meetings and ask questions.
There have been ‘some’ improvements’ but no where near what the publics expectations are.

Whilst the 2022 Care Quality Commission Rating – Requires Improvement is a little out of date – The Surgery ‘should’ tell us what they have done to make improvements.

What’s all the activity at the Whittlesea Railway Station.
It is not – I understand the start of the £3 Million upgrade to the station – I believe initially for a footbridge over the rail crossing.
It is part of a £6 Billion upgrade to the automatic signalling system, which is supposed to be going live sometime in October.

I wonder ‘who’ was the 5 Millionth visitor/hit to my web-blog sometime last night.
A fantastic journey – not easy and at times very time consuming.

As I’ve always stated, the ‘only’ place you will get facts not fiction, not hearsay and not always political….

Has been closed for some considerable period, however today I saw the owner & son, and they will be re-opening either tomorrow (Saturday) or Monday.
Just had an extended holiday….

Following on from Whittlesey Festival on Sunday, I would like to thank you all sincerely for taking part and making the event so successful.

Despite the rain the great British public turned out, and judging by the feedback thoroughly enjoyed the day.

The quality and breath of stalls, food and entertainment was I think the best ever, which is credit to you all.
