Helping Whittlesey Now Operating

The Helping Whittlesey Community Pantry is up and running now. The initiative is to reduce food waste rather than provide food aid (WEFA already does fantastic work in that arena).

The concept is to intercept food that is viable and safe before it is buried in landfills. The group has great connections and systems that provide food close to the recommended sell-by date and gift it to ANYONE who can make use of it. Donations are discretionary.
