There is a confidential item towards the end of the Agenda – Re 2 Market Street Whittlesey.
Of course I must not call our feral youths illiterate – or even point blame on them – it wouldn’t be so bad if they had a bit of ‘Banksy’ between them – if this is the best they can do – well say no more.
This is on the right hand side of the Manor Centre looking from the front, recently there has been quite a lot of drug paraphernalia left in the doorway nearby.
Concern grows for missing Alex
We have released further information and photos about a vulnerable missing man as the search continues to find him.
Alex Fitzjohn, who is 26 and has autism, left Queensgate shopping centre, Peterborough at about 10am on Friday (24 June).
The last confirmed sighting of him is in the village of Coates, near Whittlesey, at just after 1.30pm the same day.
Alex, from Peterborough, left the area with only his bus pass and is believed to have no bank cards or mobile phone with him.
Detective Inspector Adi Bowman said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Alex’s welfare, who left the area with no personal possessions.
“We know that he likes to travel on the bus, especially around Fenland, Peterborough and nearby areas, so would urge anyone using public transport to keep an eye out for him and call us urgently with any sightings.”
Alex is described as five foot six tall, of medium build with brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, grey T-shirt, black jogging bottoms with a white stripe and carrying a black rucksack with orange writing.
Anyone who has seen Alex, or who has information concerning his whereabouts, should call 999 immediately quoting incident 148 of 24 June.

The ‘Ex-Orlando’ shop on Broad Street…..
More than happy to promote any new business coming to our town.
At 08:30 yesterday as I was waiting to start my ‘volunteer’ role at the BIG BASH –
When I was verbally attacked and abused by a man and woman who were unhappy that a part (small) of the Manor Field was being used for car parking, I tried to engage with said man and woman who’s expletives carried on for some time, he was also somewhat very aggressive in his nature – He had a go at me being a Councillor – I was not in my capacity as a Councillor – I was a ‘volunteer’.
To say I was shocked is an understatement – not expected on a Sunday morning at 08:30 – I suggested that the gentleman seek ‘Anger Management’ which he took some exception too….. Fortunately it was witnessed by a member of the public.
The rest of the day was enjoyed by several thousand adults and children and I met a lady who visited the BB from Blackpool…..
Well done Robert Windle and all the supporters for another very successful day.
Myself, Robin S and Robert B – At the NHW stand – Golden Age Fair.
