Updated Neighbourhood Policing Priorities Inc Crime Stats

Dear Roy,

You may recall we asked for your input last month to help us form our neighbourhood policing priorities for the coming quarter (October to December 2023).

Using a combination of your feedback and our own data (from recorded crime), we have set the below as the top three things your local neighbourhood policing teams in Fenland will prioritise over the next three months.

Priorities for the Wisbech team are:
(Covering Wisbech, Elm, Friday Bridge, Coldham, Guyhirn, Murrow, Wisbech St Mary, Leverington, Tydd Gote, Parsons Drove, Newton)

·       Street drinking in Market Place, Old Market, St Peter’s Garden in Wisbech

·       Anti-social behaviour in parks and open spaces in Wisbech Town Park, St Peter’s Garden and Tillery Park

·       Illegal parking in Wisbech town centre, Market Place and surrounding areas

Priorities for the March team are:
(Covering March, Wimblington, Doddington, Benwick, Chatteris, Pondersbridge, Whittlesey, Coates, Turves, Manea)

·       Drug use and dealing across March, Whittlesey and Chatteris

·       Anti-social driving across March, Whittlesey and Chatteris

·       Youth-related anti-social behaviour across March, Whittlesey and Chatteris

We will again be asking for your input in forming our next set of priorities, so please keep an eye out for further communications in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, if you have any specific concerns you want us to know about, you can let us know on our website here.
