Our ‘British Merchant Navy’ might not be as in the 1960’s or 70’s but the support from the civilian side ‘The Royal Fleet Auxiliary’ provides essential logistics, manned and commanded by Merchant Navy Men & Women.

I am proud to have been in the ‘British Merchant Navy’ for nearly 28 years, visited over 100 countries and covered over 1,000,000 nautical miles – I kept a journal and log-book of my sailing days.
I did not sail with The RFA , but had several friends and colleagues who did.
