Reporting Issues & Concerns….
I am plugging away again, it is just as easy for residents to report issues – as it is for me or any other Councillor, – why – you know the full facts – most of the time we only get the highlighted issue and not the whole picture. I’ve just had a ‘flooding’ issue on Aliwal Road,
no pictures and only a scant report and !Complaint! – I have to find the address, the postcode and what type of problem it was….. what would have taken the resident 5 minutes – takes me 30 minutes – this for every issue that is reported to me…..
Yes I have done it…..

On a Lighter Note – Karma Almost
I’ve said on many occasions, that my ‘Litterpicking’ whether it be on my own or with the organised ‘Street Pride’ Group, – very therapeutic and calming, that is until someone had a go at me (again), which I am also used too.
Not a problem if the issue(s) are my fault or making I’ll take full responsibility, but it is not fair to have a go – when the issue(s) are outside my control.
I’ve published on many occasions, that ‘if’ something on this web-blog is not correct, I am more than happy to either correct it or to remove it….

On a Lighter Note……Update
Over the last couple of years, my friends (yes I have a few) have been growing ‘Sunflowers’ and there is a bit of competition as to who has the tallest/largest….
I think this year – Connie has got the tallest….unless you know different.
Topping at just over 3 metres – fed on a special diet of Tortoise You-Know-What?

By-Election – Whittlesey NorthWest – Polling Card Issue
A great deal of controversy and ‘heat’ being generated about there being No Polling Cards being issued for the forthcoming By-Election for Whittlesey Northwest.
The ‘story’ on the CambsNews© Website Click Here To View
He may be the returning officer, but not even Paul Medd can force Whittlesey town council to issue polling cards for a by election – a decision which has angered Fenland Green Party.
“The Fenland Green Party has raised concerns regarding Whittlesey Town Council’s recent decision to not issue polling cards for the upcoming by-election scheduled for the 28th of September,” said a spokesperson.
Let me make things ‘clear’ – it was NOT as being reported a Whittlesey Town Council decision NOT to issue Polling Cards, I and several other Whittlesey Town Councillors, were NOT consulted in any form what-so-ever, so to say it was a WTC decision is a bit wide of the mark. The decision was made by ‘the executive councillor(s) of WTC/FDC.
I am in receipt of both The Green and Conservative Candidates inital publicity, and note that although both are going to ‘fix’ Whittlesey’s envirnomental issues, neither have been involved as far as I am aware of any groups such as The Saxongate Residents Group, or attended ANY Council meetings so far – I am very enthusiastic that they all have the ‘guts’ to put up for election, however, the ‘Spin’ on their leaflets leaves a little to be desired.
Please keep to the facts and figures…..
To date I have not received any material from Independent Candidate Peter Bibb.
