Councillor Surgery This Morning

Myself and Cllr Peter bibb, dealt with two residents concerns and issues this morning.
One being several issues near Victory NISA and the road surface + anti-social delivery times.
The other to do with Brambles damaging a resident fence, this is a civil matter, however,
I will write a letter to the land owner on behalf of this elderly resident.

Help Coates Church Tidy Up……

Some weeks ago I was informed that the Church had to be closed because some tiles had come off. I learn this morning, that the Church is actually open.

This Saturday 03rd August, there will be a small team who are asking for help to carry out a tidy-up of the Church Yard.

The event starts at 10:00 thru to 12:00 bring a ‘Rake’ and refreshements will be provided.

The Holy Trinity Church was built in 1840 built entirely of yellow bricks manufactured at the now defunct brickworks – Bundy’s along Station Road.

Final Account – Household Support Fund Closure.

The figures show that ‘Fenland’ received the most support in the whole area, and my source informs me that Wisbech received the ‘bulk’ of the offers.

Contacting The Police – we’ll let you in on a secret!

We know how valuable your time is.
Which is why we wouldn’t want you to spend your precious time waiting on hold for an operator to become available, like you may have to during busy periods on 101.

Instead, you can now report non-urgent crime to us through our website, without the need for any lengthy phone calls or waiting on hold.

Just visit www.cambs.police.uk/report, fill in the form and we’ll take it from there?

Rest assured we’ll get back in touch if we need any more information, and also to let you know our next steps. You don’t need to do anything!

Reporting non-urgent crime couldn’t be easier, or more efficient. You can use our website or live web chat (it’s a real person – no bots!) to report crime, antisocial behaviour, missing people, fraud, stolen / damaged property, rape / sexual assaults, spiking and more.

Reports made online will be reviewed by a real person, and follow the exact same process as phone calls to 101 – in fact they’re even reviewed and processed by the same people in our call centre.

Just visit our website and click ‘report’ to get started
