We are looking at recruiting a new Volunteer at Whittlesey possibly on a Monday afternoon, but the day is negotiable. This role will ideally be to assist members of the public with completing their Bus Passes/Renewals and Blue Badges.
If someone is interested in volunteering in the Library, but would rather help with shelving of returned stock and looking for bookings customers have requested from other Libraries then that would also be welcomed as this will free staff time to assist with the Bus Passes etc.
This is where you all come in, If you, or you know of anyone who may be interested in either of these roles then please pass on my details and I am happy to discuss the roles further.

Whittlesey Library circa 1984. The Library has been ‘homed’ in several places in the past 50 years.
It had a base in Market Street – then moved to Queen Street, then moved to its present building.
