We Need Your Views on Cybercrime!

Takes around 10 minutes if you have the time….

Along with our Cyberhood Watch partner, Avast, we are launching the latest Cybercrime Survey which will help us understand the impact of online crime and scams on our members. There’s also the opportunity of winning some very useful M&S vouchers!

Enter now

The findings of the survey will be used to inform the ongoing Cyberhood Watch awareness initiatives and draw attention to important topics which will help everyone protect themselves – and their loved ones – from cyber criminals.

The survey will close on Friday 15 December – we’d really love to hear your views and of course, we will load the report onto our website once it is available so you can take a look for yourself!

Thanks in advance for your support in the fight against cybercrime in the UK.

I Don’t Do Fake News – Unlike Some Other Local Platforms

I am extremely ‘proud’ of this Web-blog – some 5,000+ people a day pass-by for a minute or two of ‘real’ accurate local news and events – I rarely do hearsay – but I am informed that there is yet again news locally which is a ‘little’ inaccurate to say the least…..

Stay with me – you know who to trust….

Neighbourhood Police – Parking Outside Of Schools

They (the PCSO’s) carry out regular patrol of schools within the Whittlesey area.

Based on the feedback that we got from you, one of our priorities the past few months has been parking around schools.

We have been patrolling schools this week, issuing tickets or words of advice to those parked obstructively.
Park Lane, Burrowmoor, and Glebelands have already been visited by us, with more schools to be visited this week.

So far, two tickets have been issued to illegally parked cars, and plenty of words of advice issued to drivers.

Parking obstructively, especially around a school, is incredibly dangerous as it can put pedestrians and other road users at risk. It is better to park a bit further away and walk in than it is to find a gift from us in the form of a ticket!

If there are any other issues that you would like to make us aware of, you can fill out our community survey.
