Saxongate – Water Testing & Quality
Saxongate continue to highlight that the current testing regimes for areas like Saxon Pit which handle toxic incinerator bottom ash are insufficient, especially as trade effluent continues to be pumped into the Kings Dyke without the required EA permit.
The Middle Level Drainage board have even admitted that they have no in-house ability to systematically analyse water quality.

Mr Coogan May Have A Point…?
Today, 2 men and a high-lift van have come all the way from Hertfordshire to ‘paint’ our relatively new ‘Lampposts’ – their target is 33 to paint the ‘newish’ Lampposts.
Whilst many are complaining on how ‘Dim’ the latest installed LED lights are, someone appears to have money for this unnecessary work.

Some Very Interesting Reading ££££££ – FDC Cabinet Meeting
FDC Agenda frontsheet 16062025 1600 Cabinet
I’ve attached below the whole document for FDC Cabinet – Item Fenland Inspire! Projects Update (Pages 25 – 52) makes interesting reading in that the present forecast is £43 Million to fund Fenland Aspire, the majority of which will have to be borrowed.
That said this is probably the one and only opportunity to gets major enhancements done before ‘Fenland District Council’ is absorbed into a ‘Unitary Authority’
