I have responded to an appeal for warm, clean men’s clothing by the Peterborough charity which is supporting newly arrived refugees, who have no or very little suitable clothing for our climate.
The lovely people from Helping Whittlesey have agreed to store the donations at the community pantry at the Falcon Hotel. I would be grateful if you could publicise these facts to your residents.
My plan is to pick up and transport all donations next Sunday 1st December (hoping they will all fit into a Passat!
