I am pleased to have secured my position back onto Fenland District Council’s Planning Committee as a substansive member.
Some contentious applications coming before todays FDC Planning Committee.
Nothing in Whittlesey, but some in March.
Planning is a very time consuming and at most times intense position.
ALL Councillors should look at applications on their merits and are guided by the Governments National Planning Policy Framework, and not limited too, the Local Fenland Plan and Local Town and Parish Plans.
W
e are also guided by Planning Officers.
I am very open to being lobbied, however we must not be pre-determined on applications unless we have our own views, in which case we would have to declare ourselves.
