Lattersey Nature Reserve, Whittlesey – Site Clearance

Please be advised Cambridgeshire County Council are to begin minor vegetation clearance within Lattersey Local Nature Reserve, New Road Whittlesey later this week and next week.  This is to allow future access for works required to infill the former rail bridge.  Please be assured all works have been planned in consultation with the Wildlife Trust, Fenland District Council and Ecologists.  Ecologists will be present on site supervising the works.  During these works traffic management may be required, however access will be available along New Road.
Further designs and assessments are required until the main works can be completed on the bridge infilling which should be later this year.  I will offer a further update in due course.
