A message from the King’s Dyke project team:
The last of the work on the project’s railway bridge has now taken place, with the team sealing the joints between its precast concrete parapets – this provides permanent edge protection from the weather across the bridge.
Also on the bridge, two of the four wing walls (pictured left), which will extend back from each corner of the railway bridge, have been completed.
The construction of a third wing wall (pictured right), on the opposite side, is now in progress.
Lastly, the site team has created what will be a temporary access point towards the brickworks from the existing A605.
