More Mindless Vandalism -School Holidays?

Oh I’ll be in trouble again, vandalism happens all the time everywhere, it just seems to increase during school holidays.

Latest – Manor Field (again), St Mary’s Church Yard (again), and now the Yobs have found our lovely Jubilee Wood – It is realy heartbreaking that ‘they’ want to destroy newly planted tree’s – many donated in memory of a loved one –

Neighbourhood Police More Patrols…..

Evening patrols to combat ASB in Whittlesey.

When we attended the Community Safety Partnership event at Whittlesey Library a few weeks ago, one of the points raised by those who attended was wanting a more visible police presence in the town, especially in areas that were reported as having high levels of anti-social behaviour (ASB).

One of these areas was St Mary’s Church grounds, where we have spent some time during our late shifts talking to those we saw about any issues and the work we are doing in the area.

We will continue to be out on the streets when we can, even if you don’t see us, it doesn’t mean we aren’t there. If you do spot us, feel free to stop and say hi as we’d love to chat to you!

In order to continue tackling ASB in the area, we need your reports to help us identify key areas and those causing the issues. You can report to us online here.
