Cambs NHW AGM

Yesterday Robin Sutton and myself attended the AGM of Cambridgeshire Neighbourhood Watch at Police HQ in Huntingdon.
Robin who has been chair of the group for 6 years will be retiring at the next Executive meeting.

Police and other agencies attended along with Barclays Bank.

Some 30 or so delegates attended from over the County.

Key Speaker was Darryl Preston The Police and Crime Commissioner who thanked all of the NHW Group volunteers for what we do in the community.

Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) represents the largest group of volunteer organisations in the UK with 155,000 schemes covering 10million people.

There is a vast amount of information on the Whittlesey NHW Website.
(including on how to receive e-cops messages and how to become a member of NHW).
