I am pleased to let you know the works near the Sir Harry Smith Community College new entrance was completed on behalf of the Cambridgeshire County Council Capital Education Team from 12th – 19th August ahead of the new term.
I have attached some photos of the completed work.
This work included.
- Extending the 20mph restriction into a 20mph zone
- Parking restrictions and lining
- Two sets of speed cushions
- A raised pedestrian crossing near the new entrance
Additionally, in order to fully utilise the closure to its full potential we liaised with LHO from CCC to complete the following works.
- Certain pothole repairs with dragon patcher
- Gully emptying / jetting within the closure
